UPDATE: We’ve just got word from Nokia that the 5800 XpressMusic won’t be launching with the Comes With Music service from the 23rd – the all you can eat music buffet service won’t be available for it until an unconfirmed date, the Finnish ‘fone company says. We’ll let you know when we find out.

We’ve been waiting long and hard for the first FInnish touchscreen in years, the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, but at last it’s here, dated and priced for the UK. Find out when the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic is out after the jump!

The Spanish may have got it first, but Nokia has confirmed that us Brits will be getting the 5800 Comes With Music cellphone on January 23rd. It’ll be priced at £249.99 SIM-free and available at Nokia’s Regent Street and Heathrow Terminal 5 stores, as well as their online store. It will be available on contract from every provider except Three on the 30th, and will also go on sale at the Carphone Warehouse on the same day.

The Nokia N97 may have everyone’s attention right now, but the Symbian S60 enabled 3.2inch touchscreen telephone should quell your smartphone urges until the summer. If you can’t wait a fortnight though, not to worry: you can check out all the 5800 unboxing pictures right now.
