We’ve seen dual screen laptops before, but Asus has topped that by going and squeezing two whole computers inside one laptop shell with the M50 concept – get all the details after the jump!

Inside the laptop shell are two full machines, with separate processors and storage, with only a shared battery for the both. There’s the full size screen for the more powerful, while the smaller displays on a 4.3inch widescreen where a trackpad would normally be.

Asus is calling the laptop an “instant internet device”, and it’s not far wrong: you can jump online, check email and send text messages from the small computer with quick boot up, or scroll through your usual widgets (Calendar etc).

It’s not clear just yet how powerful or open the smaller computer will be, but it comes into its own by minimising processing and battery drain when playing videos or displaying pictures – you’ll be able to watch videos for 12 hours on the full size screen from just a single charge. Specs as and when we get ‘em – in the meantime, check out the pictures below.
