As a seasonal treat, Xbox Live Marketplace is flogging a virtual fireplace that will simulate a real log fire, complete with sound effects and ‘heat haze’. Ironic, really, given the Xbox 360′s legendary inability to cope with high temperatures and propensity for Red Ring Of Death-ing at the merest upward flicker of the thermometer.
