Apple will almost certainly unveil a new iMac and Mac Mini at Macworld next month, as Phil Schiller takes the stage instead of Steve Jobs. The latest evidence? Codes to unannounced versions found within the software of new MacBooks.
Unearthed by a poster on InsanelyMac’s forums, the codes reference “iMac9,1 and Macmini3,1″ neither of which have yet been released.
It would also seem the new iMac and Mac Mini will pack Nvidia’s new graphics chipsets too, turning them into more powerful gaming machines, and lining them up for full compatibility with the Snow Leopard OS.
