Now here’s something you don’t see every day: IBM’s latest ThinkPad notebook packs a second screen to supplement the regular display.
The secondary screen is 10.6 inches in size and boasts an impressive resolution of 1,280 x 768, so it’ll be useful for lots of different things – not just as a tiny display to run iTunes or Winamp while you’re working away on the primary screen.
Annoyingly, IBM has decided not to release an image of the dual-screen laptop in action – so it’s unclear how exactly the second screen works.
The regular, one-screened W700 costs around £2,200, so we’d imagine the deluxe two-screener will set you back a pretty penny whenever it launches. We’d expect the notebook to debut at CES.
