If you’re over a certain age, you’ll know all about Which? It’s one of Britain’s best-known names in consumer advice, although to get hold of it you’ve always had to subscribe to its magazine, and wade through reviews of fridges, mortgages and other boring products to get to the good stuff.
Not any more, it’s just launched a new one-off advice website with most of its content for free, and in-depth reports for one-off payments.
Dubbed Which? Instant Downloads, the new advice service was put together by strategy and design consultancy Wilson Fletcher, and dishes up pointers on buying or using tons of equipment without a subscription. You just pay for the advice you need and be on your way.
The advice comes in a PDF format, and there’s all the choice you’d expect, from cars to the Which? Good Food Guide.
Mark Wilson, director at Wilson Fletcher, said: “The look and feel of the new site is distinctively Which? and makes it easy for consumers to understand the extensive range of expert services available at their fingertips.”
