Already enjoying a sales surge around the world, Microsoft has more good news for its Xbox 360 console. A Habbo poll of 4,540 teenagers found the Xbox 360 the most popular console of choice for Christmas pressies.

39 per cent of the teens surveyed wanted a PC or games console for Christmas. Twenty per cent of those wanted an Xbox 360, just ahead of the Nintendo Wii (19 per cent). Only 15 per cent wanted a Sony PS3.

Many of those wishing for a console may be disappointed – 48 per cent of teens have already been told to expect fewer presents than usual this year, due to the credit crunch.
