Sony’s PS3 Home full open beta may be underway, but someone’s not a fan. Aaron Greenberg, group product manager, Microsoft Xbox 360, has called rival Sony’s PS3 Home service “2005 tech in 2008″. And that’s not all. Get your handbags ready gentlemen…

Speaking to Kotaku, Greenberg also said: “What Home to me feels like is Second Life for hardcore gamers. It doesn’t feel like it broadens the experience and invites people in. When they unveiled it, it seemed innovative. I think what’s happened is now here we are a couple of years later and we feel beyond that.”

So, Home sucks, huh? It’s not “Hardcore” enough for Hardcore gamers.

“I think what’s happened is now here we are a couple of years later and we feel beyond that.”

Yes, because Home will never EVOLVE, right? It will be launched and stay the same forever, lamest comment I’ve heard Greenberg make.

The great thing about Home is that it is almost entirely complete and development will be easier. Just updates and addons (let’s not talk about the experience advantage).

And it’s free, I have tried the Beta version and even though my internet connection isn’t the fastest, it has given me no problems, works like charm!

I’m a Hardcore gamer and I love it, I think it’s hardcore and it has ample space to become more hardcore, better yet, ample space to be customizable to different types of players desires and tastes.

Up yours MS, you’re just fucking jealous that you didn’t come up with the first console 3D MMO. You are acting just like a kid that sees a friend get a nice new toy and says “Oh that toy sucks because it’s so “yesterday” (but it’s new on the market). And inside he’s miserable and dying to have one.
