T-Mobile has managed to nip in ahead of the other UK networks and grab itself a shipment of BlackBerry’s new 8900 Curve handsets, and will be selling them starting today.

It was previously believed that the 8900, which we got to grips with earlier in the week, wouldn’t be out until the 20th of December, but T-Mobile has sneaked it out early. It’s available for free on tariffs of £35 per month (and upwards), according to TrustedReviews.

The phone itself is a mid-ranger with BlackBerry’s trademark QWERTY keypad and no 3G (boo!), but it does boast a fantastically sharp 2.4-inch screen, GPS and Wi-Fi. Media fanciers will appreciate the 3.5mm headphone socket, not to mention the stereo Bluetooth support, while the camera is a 3.2 megapixel number.

Out now | From £Free | T-Mobile (via TrustedReviews)
