Lips is a fantastic sing-em-up, and the included wireless microphones are one of its biggest selling points, but now Microsoft and MTV Games have teamed up to patch Rock Band 2, so it’ll accept warbling through them too!
MTV Multiplayer is reporting a joint statement from both firms explaining that “Microsoft and MTV Games are working together to ensure that consumers will be able to use the wireless mics from Lips with Rock Band 2 after launch.”
That “after launch” bit is a tad worrying, since there’s no specific timeframe. Still, it can’t be that hard to add the extra code in, can it? Here’s hoping Lips support comes sooner rather than later.
