Thought Apple’s operating system was completely bug-free? Far from it, but Apple’s on the case, bringing over 100 fixes with the next update to its Leopard OS.

There’s no firm date for the software fix, which will take OS X Leopard to version 10.5.6, but developers who have seen fresh builds of the operating system say Apple is tightening up graphics performance, problems with DVI connections for external monitors and syncing services, including MobileMe.

There’ll also be tweaks to PDF printing, particularly from within Mail, but that’s not all.

Apple’s also continuing to hammer out kinks in the next major release of OS X: Snow Leopard.

Developers are reporting there’s now an API for Apple’s Grand Central software, letting programmers squeeze more power from multi-core processors.
