As celebrity endorsements go, Dr Dre’s not a bad name to slap on your electronics. These Beats in-ear buds follow the similarly-branded over-ear versions. Our favourite description, however, comes from Dre himself: “They’ll deliver sound so big, you’ll think you’ve got speakers in your ears.” Sold!

In all seriousness though, theres’s a slightly better selling point in the fact they boast “tangle-free” cables.

From the looks of them, that means they’re flattened wires that refuse to lock together in tight knots. A clever addition if ever we saw one.

On top of that they feature squishy coverings to block out sound, and a blinged-up price tag guaranteed to get you respect. At least, from the guy earning commission for every pair he sells.
