I've had the Japanese version for a year now (the bookmark in the photo of the English version is exactly the same, BTW -- definitely Japanese) and I found it very easy to read books on the DS. If reading multi-stroke Japanese characters on a small screen presents no problem, then English text will be even easier. Sometimes it's easier than a real book, like at night when the lights are down. I also read classic English books on the DS with homebrew programs, but the official program (at least the Japanese one) has an edge with its natural book-like interface (even has the sound of pages turning and BGM). I will definitely buy the English version even though I probably have all those books -- from Project Gutenberg -- now on my DS. Can't wait for it to come out!

I love the Japanese version of this software, so I'll probably pick this one up as well. I think the DS makes a great reader.

No way in hell will I be reading on the DS. I'd rather dish out the money for the actualy copy. But this is pretty neat, I like the search function inclusion.
