Right on time, RIM’s update for the BlackBerry Storm has hit the internet. OK, so it’s not an official release, but it does give those brave enough to install it a glimpse at the bug fixes in store.
According to a tipster at Engadget, firmware version 4.7.0.75 is now doing the rounds on file sharing networks, and while we wouldn’t recommend installing it just yet, it does mean the official release can’t be far behind.
What’s more, the first reactions from those courageous enough to install it are positive.
It’s designed to fix problems with the keyboard, wildly varying volume levels, voice dialling and random rebooting. With any luck, it’ll also put a smile back on Stephen Fry’s face too!
The official release should be made public before the end of the week.
