It’s not out until well into next year, but if you want to see what a high-end telly really looks like, get down to Selfridges to see Loewe’s Reference 52 telly in the flesh – or just check our snaps out right here!

While we’re not certain about the name (Perhaps some form of German “joke”?), there’s no denying that the glass tinted, LCD 52 inch 100Hz screen is beautiful to the point where you’ll stop looking at what’s on screen in favour of the frame altogether.

It’s 1080p of course, and while it comes with a digital recorder built in, packing 500GB of storage space, it’s shockingly thin.

Don’t expect it to be cheap when it goes on sale in 2009, however. Loewe sits at the top of the telly tree for a reason, and if you want top quality, you pay for it, comprende? Click the thumbnails below to gorge your eyes on Loewe’s latest lump of TV loveliness.

This looks like my next TV purchase but first I’ll have to sell my Loewe Xelose “37″.
