Acer’s head honcho Scott Lin just dished the dirt on the company’s 10 inch laptop, due to go head to head with the likes of Dell’s Inspiron Mini 9 just after Christmas.
According to Lin, the Aspire One’s 10 inch version will launch in the first quarter of 2009. He also told DigiTimes that 15.6 inch 14.1 inch, 13.3 inch and 12.1 inch laptops will also be delivered next year, all with LED backlighting.
But it’s the dinky 10 inch version we’re mote excited about. There’s no firm word on its specs, but since Acer already has larger Aspire One models with built in 3G, we’d be surprised to see it debut without it. Especially since Dell already offers it in those tiny Inspirons.
Stay glued here for updates as we get them.
