According to an anonymous source who apparently attended Sony Computer Entertainment Europe’s Staff Annual Briefing (held last Friday in London), Sony have big plans for both the PS3 and PSP in 2009.
SCEE President David Reeves is quoted in the D+Pad feature saying that Sony Europe will be “getting more competitive in price from March 2009 onwards”. Reeves also apparently boasted that the PS3 has a “bigger install base” than the 360 in Europe.
Also shown at the Briefing, the long-rumoured LittleBigPlanet PSP game and MotorStorm PSP, as well as new key titles for the PS3 – Killzone 2, God Of War 3 and Uncharted 2. Uncharted was one of the most slept-on PS3 exclusives (if you don’t have it, go buy it – it’s Gears Of War combat meets Lara Croft Tomb Raiding).
