iPhone owners feeling the pinch after their purchase (and discovering there’s no dock included with the 3G version), take heart! A band of gadget-mad origami fans have created a fold-your-own dock for Apple’s handset. Instructions after the jump!
The guys at Geeky Gadgets have designed the cardboard dock, which can be made from a sheet of A4.
“We decided to make our own iPhone dock, that was easy for anyone to make and can be made from readily available materials,” the site explains. “We decided to make our dock out of cardboard, and wanted anyone to be able to print one off on their printer so we kept the size to A4.”
All you’ll need to make your own is a sheet of cardboard, scissors or a craft knife, a printer and the USB to Dock Connector cable that comes with the iPhone (or iPod touch.)
The template can be downloaded from Geeky Gadgets, and there’s also an instructional video. Check it out below, you crafty gadget fans.
