Since Packard Bell has been pretty much the only electronics company in the world ever not to release a netbook yet, it’s hardly surprising that one is in the works. We caught a glimpse of Bell’s “dot” PC at a showcase last night – see the hands on pics inside.
Stats wise, the dot does scream “Acer Aspire.” There’s the same 1.6GHz Atom processor, 8.9 inch screen, 160GB HDD, and 1GB of RAM.
But there a few extra options to make this version worth your moolah, including a six cell battery, and for a little extra cost, Packard Bell tells us you can even get 3G installed. Just like the Eee PC. And Dell Inspiron Mini 9.
