USA Today, the American newspaper, has the first details of the long-awaited downloadable content for Grand Theft Auto IV on the Microsoft Xbox 360. The expansion pack, named “Lost And Damned” is set to focus on a new character, Johnny Klebitz, part of The Lost biker gang – already seen in GTA IV.
“Johnny is a very different character than Niko, with a very different background,” Dan Houser, vice president of creative development, Rockstar Games told USA Today. “The story will show you a different side of Liberty City.”
The USA Today piece also revealed that the pack would be available to download, at least in the US (and probably everywhere) on February 17 exclusively for the Xbox 360.
Just as The Lost played a bit part in Niko’s story, Niko will appear briefly in Lost And Damned. “Tons of details and mysteries from [Niko's] story get explained, so it will add a lot of colour to the main story,” said Houser. The piece quotes analysts predicting a download price of between $15 and $20, so around £15.
