Epson launches Endeavor netbook

They’re all at it aren’t they? Epson is best known for its projectors and printers, but the Japanese firm has just joined the ranks of Asus, MSI, Dell et al by launching its own dinky Atom-powered laptop called, apparently, the Endeavor.

Spec wise the netbook offers nothing out of the ordinary: there’s a 10.2-inch screen, Intel Atom processor, 1GB of memory, 160GB hard drive, Wi-Fi and USB 2.0. It weighs 1.28kg and measures up at a snug 266 x 185 x 39mm.

It’s not the sexiest looking mini-lappy we’ve seen either, but we guess it’s yet another option for buyers, and that has to be a good thing. Sadly it’s not yet available in the UK yet – you’ll have to head all the way to Japan to get your hands on one.

Out now | €380 (£320) | Epson (via Akihabara News)
