This freaky-looking phone is called the IcePhone, and the company behind it has an equally bizarre name, The Medical Phone Ltd. The concept handset is a 3-stage flip phone and is scheduled for release next year in Thailand and the UK.

The entire front screen is a touchscreen, but when you open it you are greeted by a 3-inch screen and keyboard, good. Flip it again and a gaming pad appears below the keyboard.

Specifications include, GSM Quadband 850/900/1800/1900, GPRS/EDGE and 7.2 Mbps HSDPA UMTS 2100 connectivity, Freescale iMX31 532 Mhz CPU and 3-inch, 240 × 400 px 65K color transflective TFT touchscreen.

It will apparently run Windows Mobile 6.0 Pro OS and it features a 1-megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash, built-in GPS and Wi-Fi b/g.

Early indications are that this mutant mobile, that measures 127 × 60.8 × 23.3 mm and weighs 210g, will be priced around the $1000 mark.
