Apple’s shiny new aluminium MacBooks and MacBook Pro laptops have suffered a bit of bad press recently. It turns out that buttonless glass trackpad isn’t quite as responsive as some had hoped, with it locking up occasionally. But now Apple’s fixed it.
The Mac maker just posted an automatic update that “addresses an issue where trackpad clicks may not be recognized on MacBook (Late 2008) and MacBook Pro (Late 2008) systems.”
It’s a pretty simple update, just head to the Apple menu at the top left of your screen and fire up Software Update. Of course, you’ll only need it if your MacBook or MacBook Pro is one of the new all aluminium and glass display models.
