Yes, it’s the time of the day that we commonly refer to as “lunch”, so kick back with your choice of sandwich, bap or healthy wrap and cast your eyes over the biggest stories of the morning. It’s the Lunchtime Lowdown, folks!
We’re going a bit iPhone crazy today (yes, again) as news reaches us that Google has developed a voice search app for Apple’s messiah mobile. No need to let you fingers do the walking, folks – just shout at your iPhone and it’ll tell you exactly where you can buy Fly Fishing by J R Hartley (a great read, incidentally).
The iPhone’s gaming talents have also been given a boost with the release of a multiplayer version of Tap Tap Revenge. Yes, that’s online gaming on the iPhone – a first but hopefully not a last.
Lastly Sony has announced that it has developed a 12.25-megapixel CMOS sensor specifically for use in mobile phone cameras.
