Nokia handset plans leaked online

Fancy getting a sneak preview of what Nokia plans for the future? An internal development road map with heaps of info on different phone models has cropped up online. It shows which models are in development and all the tasty new tech they’ll come loaded with.

Unfortunately the list doesn’t have pictures, instead just a reduced run down of specs, so you’ll have to use your imagination.

The stolen plans were stored inside a small, dome-shaped droid, which managed to escape to a remote desert planet when Nokia attacked and boarded the…no, wait, that was something else.

Actually, they were sneaked to the gadget hounds at Engadget Mobile.

Among other things, there’s the “Corolla” with a 3-inch VGA display, the “Eitri,” a monster QWERTY candybar…and mention that Nokia’s new models will have “tactile feedback”. We assume that means their screens and buttons won’t just click, but actually push back, which would be pretty cool by our reckoning, especially for games: imagine a driving title where the harder you press, the faster your car accelerates.
