Apple don’t have the monopoly on stylish, all-in-one desktop computers anymore: Asus has crashed the party with their touchscreen Eee Top PC. We brought you a first hands on with the iMac rival two weeks ago, but now we’ve got one of our very own to unbox for your pupils’ delight. Read on for pics!
Owners of one of the many billion Eee PC netbooks will recognise the box design instantly, but this one’s a little bit bigger naturally. Opening it up we find a rather swanky slimline mouse and keyboard tucked inside with the mains adaptor, already putting it ahead of the Mac Mini in our eyes.
It’s incredibly easy to get up and running, with Windows XP coming pre-installed, and the touchscreen feels superbly responsive. The slide out fat finger menu bar will work great if you plan to put this in the kitchen – but don’t take our word for it, see for yourself in the gallery below.
