We’re starting to see some really innovative apps for the iPhone, and this week’s highlight (spotted over at Distorted Loop) has got to be Ocarina which, yep you guessed it, lets you “play” an ocarina using your iPhone’s microphone and touchscreen.

You blow into the mic to play notes and control the pitch by covering the “holes” on the touchscreen with your fingertips. Sounds nifty, sure – but you need to see it in action to get a real idea of how good it really is:

Not at all bad for 99c (59p)! Kudos to the developers, Smule.
