In-car power, in a cup!

Categories: Gadgets News    Tags: , , , ,

How strong do you like your coffee? How about 240 volts! This cup-shaped in-car power adapter takes juice from the cigarette lighter socket, and turns it into power for devices with normal plugs!

OK, so the sockets are only suitable for readers in the US, but the design really grabbed us as unique, interesting and, well, cool!

Designed to sit snugly in a cup holder, it’ll let you plug two devices into one cigarette lighter, and there’s even a USB socket so you can charge an iPod, PMP or compatible mobile phone.

Dubbed the PowerCup, it’s only available in the US at present.

Out now | $30 | PowerCup (via Unplggd)
