These days it all seems to be about touchscreen phones, or candybar handsets: the classic clamshell has been sorely missed among the multitude of mobiles on the market.

However, LG and Orange have done their bit to rectify the situation.

The newly launched slimline KF300 is a wafer-thin 16.2mm and weighs in at just 96g. It supports tri-Band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and packs an exterior 1.3inch LCD screen and an interior 2.2inch display.

Other features include Bluetooth, MP3 player, FM radio and built-in memory of 14MB, which you can expand up to 2GB with a Micro SD card. It also sports a 2 megapixel auto focus camera.

There’s no denying its stylish, but it’s also cheap too. The LG-KF300 is available now exclusively on Orange, in store and from the Orange website on a two-year contract from £15 per month.
