Gaming power-addicts Alienware just outed their latest ultra-powerful M17 laptop. It’s 50% quicker than the last model, and designed purely for high energy, high resolution, high speed gaming.

Inside the 17 inch laptop is a monster screen running at Full HD resolution. There’s a Blu-Ray drive and a quad-core Intel Core 2 Extreme processor. Alienware’s also added 3GB of memory to make the machine fly through games and apps as well as not one, but two ATI Mobility Radeon HD graphics processors.

On the storage front there’s up to 640GB of hard drive space, as well as an optional HD TV tuner, but the best thing about the M17 is its price.

Alienware’s asking a trifling £999 for this slab of gaming luxury. That’s remarkably cheap, considering the power on offer.

Fancy something a bit cheaper? Check out our round-up of the best laptop bargains available to buy right now. There’s even a Blu-Ray equipped model in there!

Out now | £999 | Alienware
