Motorola has announced an upgraded version of the RAZR V9. Called the RAZR V9x, the new handset boasts increased battery life, more built-in memory and a ton of fancy extras.
As well as its iconic clamshell design, the new phone also features a 2-megapixel snapper. Granted it’s not exactly cutting edge, but it’s an improvement.
Far more exciting is Moto’s built-in pedometer, dual speakers for 3D sound, Crystal Talk for improved audio quality, advanced speech recognition and day and evening themes, which can change at preset times.
There’s also the capacity for more memory, with the new RAZR happily gobbling 8GB with the aid of a microSD card slot.
An music player is also built in, churning out MP3, Real, WAV and WMA formats. Plus the usual essential applications include a calendar, alarm clock, call waiting, caller ID and a personal organiser.
