It’s Android week and yet another announcement from a big name boarding the bandwagon. Electronic Arts has announced that it’s developing Android titles.
Games companies don’t get any bigger than EA. But what’s its big idea for Android? Er, the first game is Tetris. Bejeweled and Monopoly Here & Now are due to follow in November. Woo!
EA didn’t say whether it was planning to charge for the titles. But we can’t help wondering whether the fact that all downloads are free at Android Market until 2009 means that it is cannily holding fire with its big guns like FIFA, Spore, Tomb Raider, Tiger Woods and The Sims.
