It’s the Eurogamer Expo in London today, and hardcore gamers have been practicing patience worthy of a Buddhist monk by waiting hours for a chance to play Gears Of War 2 before next month’s release.
We’ve just had a play on the Xbox exclusive, and it doesn’t fail to live up to expectations. Multiplayer is a joy, avoiding the gung-ho approach of Halo or Unreal for something slightly more tactical and intelligent, if just as splattery. And for a three year old console, it’s bleeding gorgeous.
