Sling’s poised to rip the covers off its most ambitious project to date: a web portal allowing all-in-one access to on-demand TV, catch-up services and your own Slingbox, wherever you are.

The all-new Sling.com is rumoured to be launching on November 10th, serving up content to viewers Stateside from a single website, rather than relying on separate software applications.

As well as dishing up shows and movies from Hulu and CBS, it’ll let visitors watch their own set-up at home and access a Slingbox through the web.

We’ve also heard it’ll include new Clip and Sling technology, letting viewers send clips to their friends, and view other people’s selections. A bit like YouTube.

A leaked e-mail to beta testers has already revealed there’ll be 60 on-demand services dishing up content through the portal, but whether any of them will be available in the UK remains to be seen.

Out November 10 | £TBC | Sling (via TechCrunch)
