Electronic goods vendor LG has launched a touchscreen phone for the masses with the introduction of the Cookie, winning our coveted title of strangest phone name ever in the process.
Served up to tempt you away from those pricy touchscreen telephony devices already out there, the Cookie packs in as much as it can into it’s 13.9mm slim body.
Inside there’s a 3-megapixel snapper, MP3 player, FM radio and motion sensors for shaky game playing experiences. It’s even QWERTY’d (the keyboard slides into view when tilted) up and features full haptic feedback so you’ll feel every punch from the screen.
Those averse to smudge marks can pull out the stylus, which will come in handy for the handwriting software on board for messaging.
Sounds like LG has taken bits of the BlackBerry Storm, iPhone and Nokia 5800 and squashed them into one. It’ll be an O2 inclusive for £10 on pay-as-you go from The Carphone Warehouse when it comes out.
What do you think? Enough to tempt you away from those tasty handsets? Let us know in the comments section.
