Now, we’re not sure if Asus is actively trying to confuse us or not, but its naming scheme for the many modelled Eee PC range now includes not just numbers and letters, but hyphens as well with the introduction of the 1000H-X.
The new model is apparently headed for Japan, according to a press release posted on Nikkei Trendy Net (best site name ever, btw).
However, just from skimming the Google translated version, it’s hard to see how it differs from the plain old 1000H. Maybe hyphens are the in thing in Japan at the moment. Suppose we’ll have to see when it goes on sale at the end of the month for 60,000 Yen – around £380.
