It may look like a cheeky viral advert for the G1, but the marvellous rap love song hotting up YouTube right now is actually a promo for a fanboy forum.

It includes suggestions of what everyone from Lance Armstrong to Sarah Palin could use their snazzy new smartphone for, plus a potted history of Android and the Open Handset Alliance. Try finding a decent rhyme for that.
The video may be corny but the rap is from the heart. It’s hard to imagine any handset other than the G1 inspiring a rap love song. But, as G1 Love says, “Mannnn, You gotta try it, its the hotness. It’s like havin’ MacGyver in your pocket.” Roll on 30th October. For real.
