The Daily Mail are going to love this. The team behind the TV show Dexter are working on an iPhone game, complete with motion-sensitive gameplay that’ll see you stab, hack and slash your way to victory in the shoes of murderous protagonist Dexter Morgan.
If you haven’t seen the TV show yet, it follows Morgan as he works for the Miami Police Department, while living the secret double life of a serial killer.
Announcing the title at Comic Con, Marc Ecko, owner of the production company behind the game, described how it would use the iPhone’s movement sensors to let gamers act out murders.
Now the first screen shot has emerged, and it looks like the iPhone-exclusive game will take the form of a point and click adventure… with extra stabbing.
Controversial? Yep. Good looking? Definitely. Let’s just hope Apple doesn’t have a “no stabbing” clause in its iPhone app terms and conditions.
