The T-Mobile G1 is beginning to land in the laps of lucky pre-order customers in America, and there’s a nice surprise waiting when they switch it on: MySpace’s brand new mobile app.
It’ll get an official unveiling on Wednesday, when the handset formally goes on sale. However, those lucky enough to be manhandling one already can treat themselves to a few musical treats.
The Android app allows instant photo sharing from the phone to a MySpace page, as well as all the standard browsing of other peoples’ profiles.
You can even check out bands’ music through the app, and it comes integrated with Shazam technology, allowing it to identify tracks, and then link directly to the artist’s MySpace page.
