Now Apple’s unveiled the new MacBook and MacBook Pro, the rumour mill has turned its attention to the iMac, with murmurs it’s due for a refresh before Christmas.
Top of the wish list amongst rumour mongers is an upgrade to the iMac’s processor, as well as new Nvidia graphics. However, there’s one addition that seems certain if Apple’s to update its all-in-one desktop this side of 2009: DisplayPort.
Steve Jobs has stated it’ll become the new Apple standard for monitor connections, and is currently missing from the iMac line.
However, with the MacBook unveiling now done and dusted, its unlikely Apple will be holding another special event so soon. We’re expecting a quiet upgrade, mentioned only through the pages of Apple’s online store.
