You know what the world needs? Another flipping small, light, mega-cheap laptop. There just aren’t enough to choose from. If you’ve already looked at every model ever made ever, but have a fondness for everything 80s then take a peep at the NEC LaVie Light.

The new millennium saw the introduction of softer, curvier shapes into the world of computing hardware. NEC, however, has decided to design the LaVie Light so it appears to comes from a time when it was still king of the world.

Under that boxy hood, however, you get the usual 1.6GHz Intel Atom chip, 1GB of memory and a 160GB hard drive. The screen stretches to 8.9 inches and it sports three USB ports, Wi-Fi, a 1.3megapixel webcam and an SD card slot. Did we mention it looks like it fell out of the 80s?
