Got a pet that keeps wandering off? How about kids that do the same? Maybe you just want to keep tabs on your luggage once it disappears into the bowels of Heathrow. Whatever you’re up to, this matchbox-sized GPS tracker will let you know where it is remotely.

Made by Zoombak, it doesn’t just know where it is, it’ll tell you too – sending texts or e-mails. It even recognises locations, so the tracking data makes more sense. For example, an alert e-mail might say “Mum’s car has arrived home. 10:45am. Current location is…”

You can even text the device to ask where it is, and it’ll respond within a few seconds.

The tracker itself is lightweight, at 71g, so your missus need never know her suspicious husband has slipped it into her purse.

Out now | £99 plus £9.99 per month | Zoombak

I bought a Zoombak after losing 18 bikes to theft. 8 were stolen in San Francisco, 4 in Mountain View, 2 in Sunnyvale, one each in Redwood City, Palo Alto, Los Altos, and San Jose.
