When the New Xbox Experience (Microsoft’s fancy name for its avatars/dashboard combo) launches on November 19, owners of cut-price Xbox 360s without any hard drive storage are in for some money-saving news.
If you’re an “active” Live-using Xbox 360 owner who currently doesn’t have any storage, you’ll get a free 512MB Memory Unit. Or splash £12.99 and get a 20GB hard drive for your machine. Not so active in your online play? A 20GB hard drive and three months subscription to Live will bundle in at £19.99.
Of course, 128MB of that lovely, cheap storage will go on installing the New Xbox Experience.

You can’t be an active user of Live without any storage. You need at LEAST a memory card to get online currently…. so Is there some sort of qualification for this offer, do you have to buy it direct through microsoft… ?
