Now the Tube, or 5800 XpressMusic, is official we’re looking forward to a proper touchscreen N-Series phone. How long will we have to wait? Not long, says Nokia.
According to Devinder Kishore, director of marketing for Nokia India, a touchscreen N-Series smartphone will arrive “very soon.”
“We will have lots of touchscreen phones coming up, including an N-series device very soon” he told Cellpassion at an event in New Delhi.
It’s expected a finger-friendly N-Series will land in stores next year, likely just after Christmas, and some are expecting it’ll be called the N97 - the logical successor to the N95 and N96.
Best yet, Unwired View has combined the touchscreen interface of the 5800 XpressMusic and the shell of the N96. Could this be the N97? We certainly hope so!
