Yes, our very own master and commander James Holland requested it – so we could hardly let him down, now could we? Especially if we want to eat more than cold beans this month. Here for his – and indeed your – delight is the full skinny on getting OS X up and running on the dinky Dell.

Over at The Unofficial Apple Weblog the crew has been poking under the surface and managed to break through. Obviously, you’ll need to turn a blind eye to licensing agreements and other such legalities if you decide to head down this path. We’re just saying.

If you’re still okay with that, you’ll need an, ahem, special version of OS X tweaked for small PCs that is apparently floating around the internet. Then just a couple of extra drivers are needed and you’re good to go. Just follow the instructions and while you’re doing it, picture Steve Jobs’ face filling with ever more rage as each step you take brings you closer to reaching your final destination.
