The second version of the MSI Wind, the U120, isn’t due for a few weeks, but the eagle eyed folks over at Fudzilla have managed to get their hands on some snaps of the highly anticipated mini notebook.
The U120 doesn’t look a whole lot different to the original Wind U100, to be quite honest, but then again MSI has no real reason to change a winning formula. Specs are yet to be confirmed, but at the moment the rumour is that the U120 will be available with either a 120GB hard disk or a solid state drive with 20GB or 40GB of space. The processor will be unchanged, but connectivity is given a boost thanks to a built-in 3.5G modem that can accept a SIM card, plus 802.11n Wi-Fi.
We’ll know more about the machine in the run-up to its US launch, which is scheduled for December. The price will be around $600 (£355).
