Android may be a few weeks away (the T-Mobile G1 launches in November) but some of the open source platform’s first apps are breaking cover. And here’s one that’s particularly cool: it turns your phone into a remote control for iTunes.
Designed by Jeff Sharkey, the app pairs up with your PC or Mac’s iTunes and, well, lets you browse your library, view album art and play back music - a lot like the iTunes remote for the iPhone, in fact.
You can see the app in action in the video below - and note that you won’t have to enter the pairing code on the real thing.
