We’ve seen a couple of spy shots already, but now we hear Apple has plans to launch an ultra-cheap computer, with its next-generation MacBooks rumoured to be landing at $800. That’s less than £500!
According to the Mac watchers at 9to5Mac, Apple’s poised to deliver a hammer-blow to the likes of the Eee PC and MSI Wind, with a budget-priced laptop packing all the skills you’d expect from a full-sized computer.
Apple retail stores are rumoured to be preparing a whole new range of MacBooks, with prices from $800 to $3,100.
Spread across the MacBook Air, MacBook and MacBook pro, that presents an unprecedented range for Apple, putting it in competition with everyone from Asus to Alienware.TBC | £TBC | Apple (via 9to5Mac)
