Twitching to get your overworked thumbs on the BlackBerry Storm, but gutted there’s no sign of a Vodafone launch date? Fear not, for those teasers at RIM have just made a Storm Simulator for you to cut your teeth on.
Neatly hidden on the BlackBerry downloads page as v4.7.0 it promises to give you a taster of all the treats the Storm has in store.
OK so you’ll not be marvelling at the “suspension system” touch screen, that’d be impossible, but you’ll no doubt be able to canter through RIM’s new Application Centre, pay a visit to BlackBerry Maps, get a head start with the new OS and type lovingly at the controversial keyboard.
So get downloading for your pre-release fix and once you’ve grappled with the hefty 65-meg file be sure to drop us a line and let us know what’s what, because we’ll be damned if we can get it to load without it crashing our system.
Are we alone in our Storm Sim trouble? Let us know in the comments section below.
