We’ve seen Vodafone and Verizon touting the BlackBerry Storm, but now the phone’s first official marketing materials from RIM have broken loose online. Come and take a peek!
This is the first TV advert for the Storm, and while it looks similar to the footage shown in Vodafone’s presentation last week, there are some subtle changes.
From what we can make out, the phone will come with support for Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo! Chat, AOL Instant Messenger, Google Talk, ICQ, BlackBerry Messenger and Facebook built in.
It’ll also multi-task, so you can make appointments, or surf the web, while on a phone call.
As expected, BlackBerry Maps will come pre-installed, with GPS to pin down your position and provide directions, while the Storm’s media player boasts music playback, as well as “video streaming.”
It’s also confirmed that the BlackBerry Storm will act as a wireless modem, connecting your laptop to the web wherever you are. Take that Apple, oh, and you too T-Mobile G1!
